Good pie is as inextricable from autumn-slash-Thanksgiving as worn-in flannel, crunchy leaves and crisp air.
Face it: nothing beats digging into a thick wedge with a book and a steaming cup of tea. Add a picture window and some russet foliage and, damn, we just wrote a poem.
