Get The Burrito That Gives Back To Mother Earth (Win!)

With Earth Month here, leading Canadian burrito and taco chain, Quesada—home of the burrito that gives back—is raising funds for the David Suzuki Foundation throughout April. (Bonus: It’s also National Burrito Day on April 7!)

Quesada’s #GreenEveryday campaign means that, this month, whenever you purchase a delicious Roasted Veggie burrito or quesadilla from any of its 30 B.C. locations, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the David Suzuki Foundation to conserve and protect the natural environment in order to create a sustainable Canada. Additionally, you can donate $1, $2 or $5 to the cause in store till the end of April as well.

This marks the restaurant’s second consecutive year supporting the David Suzuki Foundation—one of many steps in its journey to better sustainability. In fact, Quesada, offering wholesome, flavourful, authentically inspired and hand-made Mexican eats (including its popular, creamy Vegan Mayo that, like the rest of its sauces and salsas, packs a huge flavour punch), was the first Mexican chain in Canada to stop giving burritos a “bad wrap,” scrapping foil in favour of biodegradable paper to wrap its burritos, thus diverting about 100,000 pounds of aluminum from landfills each year.
