As part of Montreal’s 375th birthday bash we’re checking out a multimedia show, Aura, at the Notre-Dame Basilica.
The last time the grande dame of Old Montreal got so much attention, Céline Dion and her seven-pound headpiece were walking down the aisle. Now we’re beelining it to the Gothic Revival church for a spectacle of a different kind: a sound-and-light show by Moment Factory, the masterminds behind everything from Madonna arena tours to bespoke experiences like Foresta Lumina in the Eastern Townships.
The 45-minute show (half thematic tour, half multimedia extravaganza) spotlights the Basilica’s stunning architecture through light and music and will run until next March.
Don’t miss it! —Christine Laroche
