Fox Cabaret has just officially opened its highly anticipated upstairs cocktail bar, The Projection Room.
Located (yup) in the former projectionist hangout of what used to be one of the city’s more notorious XXX cinemas, The Projection Room has undergone a Clueless-level makeover, emerging unlike any other spot in the city. Designed with a rockabilly esthetic by Scott Cohen (The Acorn, Les Faux Bourgeois) and created in collaboration with local artists like Maya Beaudry and Graham Landin, the room has everything a cinema-kitsch dream nook needs: leopard-print walls, pink mirror tables, a sparkly bar, Omer Arbel pendant lights … oh, and snacks inspired by retro cinema faves (think high-class popcorn and candy).
