No. We don’t get the day off as a stat holiday, but we Canadians love a good national day—especially with a cocktail spin. The Aperol Spritz, summer’s ultimate refreshing sipper, is celebrated coast to coast on the swishiest patios, whether that’s out and about or just at home. According to Drinks International, the Aperol Spritz occupies the number 6 spot of best-selling cocktails in the world. And it’s all about that Italian bitter-orange liqueur that seems to glow in your glass.
The brand’s official 3-2-1 recipe (3 parts prosecco, 2 parts Aperol, 1 part soda) is a snap to make, just fill a white wine glass with ice, pour three parts of Prosecco D.O.C.
