We love for flower festivals (oh, the floral photo ops!), so we’re psyched that the Richmond Sunflower Festival is back!
From the family who has brought you Richmond Country Farm’s The Pumpkin Patch, the Lower Mainland’s favourite pumpkin festival for more than 35 years, this flower festival is happening just 30 minutes from Vancouver and located on two major bus routes from the Canada Line. Explore more than eight acres of sunflowers, dahlias and other blooms, with wagon rides available to drop you off in the flower fields. In addition, on Saturday and Sunday ,hop on the train for a farm tour! Stroll through the flowers and stop at multiple photo opportunities and enjoy the live music.
There’s also food on site (hot dogs and mini doughnuts) and friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. —Vita Daily
