10 Skin Illuminators We Love

When it comes to glow goals, sometimes it’s a matter of faking it until you make it. While we might be experiencing sunnier-than-average fall weather that doesn’t mean our skin isn’t feel the fatigue of shorter days, brisker temps and less days at the beach. Lucky for us, we can fake a lit from within glow with illuminators and highlighters. Below are some of our faves. —Vicki Duong

charlotte tilbury. Debatably the OG of glowy makeup, Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter ($58) is a cult classic for good reason. The first of its kind, the Hollywood Flawless Filter is truly equal parts a complexion product and an illumination product. It manages to add radiance without intense shimmer and layers well underneath or on top of foundation.

maybelline. Multitask with Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Perfector 4-in-1 Glow Makeup ($22), designed to be used as a primer, concealer, highlighter and BB cream. We love the easy to use sponge applicator and this intuitive formula that self-adjusts to your skin tone. Because it serves multiple purposes we’ve been loving it on our low-key days with minimal makeup for that glowy finish.

fenty beauty. If anyone knows how to radiate, it’s Rihanna. A popular spin on the oh-so-popular Fenty Eaze Drop, the Eaze Drop’lit All-Over Glow Enhancer ($44) takes all of the best attributes of the original skin tint but with a soft glow. The sheer finish visibly hydrates and can be mixed in with your foundation or worn alone for a natural glow.

supergoop. Who said glowy skin and sun protection can’t go hand in hand? Supergoop’s Glowscreen ($48) is the ultimate multitasker for glow-on-the-go. A pearlescent finish available in two shades, this sunscreen also provides SPF 40 protection, blue-light protection and even makeup-gripping capabilities making it an ideal primer.

trinny london. Get your glow on with this subtle glow balm from Trinny London. The Right Light ($45) is designed specifically for a lit-from-within finish in Trinny London’s signature packaging that stacks easily with her other balm products making it ideal for glow-on-the-go. Available in four flexible shades, we love the light inspired names, including Candlelight and Firelight.
