1. Railtown Catering
For those hosting friends and family, Railtown Catering’s ‘Thanksgiving To-Go’ is back again this year, and sure to sell-out for delicious reasons. Along with a sage-roasted organic turkey, you get a seasonal variety of sides including organic mesclun greens with candied walnuts, dried apricot, chestnut and brioche bread stuffing, maple glazed sweet potatoes, buttered baby carrots, house made dinner rolls, wild honey and ginger infused cranberry sauce and classic pumpkin pie with Chantilly cream. The cherry on top? Your dinner will also give unto others too. That’s because partial proceeds will go to serving those at Railtown’s neighour, Mission Possible. ($299 plus tax and delivery charges, if applicable.)

2. Whole Foods on Cambie St.
Food experts in every healthy, sustainable regard, leave it to the folks at Whole Foods to put together a Thanksgiving feast with all the buttery fixings. Along with an organic turkey (4-6kgs), it includes an assortment of their best, house made sides, including fresh green beans, fruit and herb stuffing, country mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, cranberry relish, dinner rolls and traditional pumpkin pie. Simply heat, serve and feast! Customization is welcome too. Simply call the catering department and they’ll get it done. (For $199, their feast serves 8.)

3. The Boulevard Kitchen
With culinary visionary Executive Chef Alex Chen at the helm, it’s hard to top the Boulevard Kitchen on any occasion. And for those seeking a ‘dine out’ Thanksgiving option with impeccable food, service and quality ingredients, this is definitely the place. For two nights only, they’re offering a special 3-course Thanksgiving menu featuring the freshest local ingredients. Starting with maple-roasted butternut squash soup, you’ll enjoy slow-roasted turkey with apricot and pine nut stuffing, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, giblet gravy and cranberry sauce. Finishing with granny smith apple pie, topped with caramel chiboust and vanilla ice cream, oh my. Reservations are required, and we suggest booking soon to avoid turkey regrets! (Available Sunday, October 11 and Monday, October 12. $68/pp plus tax and gratuity.)
