Cleaning up last weekend, we started thinking about our bed. Sure, we change our sheets on the regular, but what about the mattress? How do we clean that?
Dyson’s got the answer. The legendary (yes, we can say that) vacuum-maker’s DC61 Animal ($300) is different from other handhelds out there—lighter, faster and with three times more suction thanks to a V6 digital motor and 15 carefully arranged cyclones that increase airflow and capture fine dust. It comes with a mini motorized tool that made quick work of removing hair and dirt from every nook and cranny of our pillowtop, plus a wee button that, pushed, provided a boost of power for more difficult tasks. (In fact, this Dyson’s so powerful, it can even remove allergens from your mattress.) Best of all, this cordless vac is so lightweight, we did most of our cleaning with just one hand.
