5 Picks That Do Good On Giving Tuesday

November 28, 2022

Did you know that in Canada, food bank visits have increased by 35 per cent since 2019, with 1.46 million visits to food banks in March 2022 alone? That’s why companies that give something back to the community on Giving Tuesday are great companies to invest in. Taking place this year on November 29th, GivingTuesday is the world’s largest generosity movement, celebrating and encouraging Canadians to give in support of their favourite charities or causes. On GivingTuesday in 2021, more than $11.4 million was donated on CanadaHelps.org, which lists all 86,000 registered charities on its platform for Canadians to choose from. There are also companies that are donating portions of sales in the name of the cause. Here are a few. —Jennifer Cox
