We’re so charmed by this new French bakery and café in the Financial District, we’ve slipped into speaking en franćais. It could be the buttery, flaky croissants, the insanely delicious chocolate chunk cookies (possibly the best we’ve ever eaten), or the fresh summer squash and kale quiche. Biting into any of these with our eyes closed is like being instantly transported to a chic spot in Paris. Not that we’d want to miss out on the scenery—the rustic communal table and French accents in white and blue at Maman create a picturesque setting smack-dab in the middle of T.O.
