Last year it was all about the Old Port and its urban beach. This summer, we’re heading to two hot new city hangouts.
For waterfront action it’s all about a visit to Village Éphémère (pictured, 2100 Notre-Dame E., Montreal)—a boardwalk-esque project brought to us by the Association du Design Urbain du Québec. We love the gorgeous views from the Jacques-Cartier Bridge and La Ronde (read: the fireworks) as well as the art installations, food trucks and all-around merriment of this place.
Speaking of merriment, this weekend marks the launch of Marché des Possibles by Pop Montreal and the Plateau Mont-Royal—a pilot project that will bring great food, drinks and local wares to the parking lot at St-Dominique and Bernard in Mile End. Open every weekend until August 31st.
