November 23, 2016

In preparation for the 104th Grey Cup (sponsored by Nissan, the official vehicle of the CFL) on Sunday, November 27th, we’re getting ready to throw the party of the year. Here, five tips for hosting a fabulous Grey Cup gathering. —VITA Daily

1. When it comes to Grey Cup party food there are two rules: make as much as you can ahead of time and include lots of finger foods! We’re talking chicken wings, ribs, nachos, or these Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. Consider a potluck to make the day easier, and more fun for you!

2. You may already be part of a Fantasy Football crew, but for those who want to brush up on their football knowledge, we find these YouTube video guides mighty useful.

3. Head to the dollar store to buy cups, plates and streamers in your team’s colours. (Tip: Walmart is selling CFL area rugs in the shape of a football in your team’s logo for $39.)

4. Follow the Rally of the Titans, a cross-country tour promoting grassroots football and football education in support of football fans, high school football clubs, the CFL and of course The Grey Cup!

5. Stock your fridge with beer, beer and more beer! Preferably local craft made in the Toronto area. And make sure your bar cart is stocked with spirits, such as Whiskey (a key ingredient in an Old Fashioned).

To carry all that stuff home from the store, you may need a big truck such as a Titan from Nissan. To enter to win one for a year, take a selfie and tag @NissanCanada and hashtag it #TITANRally
