Gap’s Latest Collab Features Street Prep Style & Celebrates Black History Month

A new capsule collection by Gap in collab with The Brooklyn Circus (BKc) is launching January 31 online and in select stores to kick off a new year of preppy style and in celebration of Black History Month.

Taking inspo from the pages of history books, and blending academia, music and street style from the 1960s to present day, the Gap x BKc range explores the concepts of individuality, movement and American prep. Though BKc is recognized for its menswear, this capsule was created for any gender or generation, with varsity jackets, logo hoodies, chinos and street style-inspired separates like basketball shorts and sweatpants. Accessories include hats, button pins, bandanas and gym socks, and select pieces are available in kids sizing, too.

Look for Javon Walton (child boxer and actor), Indya Moore (advocate and actor), Ouigi Theodore (BKc creative director) and the late tWitch figure in the campaign for this launch. Plus, in honour of Stephen “tWitch” Boss and Black History Month, Gap will be In honour of Stephen, Gap is supporting The 988 Lifeline by donating to Vibrant Emotional Health.  The 988 Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support and crisis counselling to people in crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the United States.
