New Eats: Workshop Kitchen and Culture

workshop kitchen and cultureThe restaurant in the Grand Theatre has found new life.

Tucked away in the theatre’s lobby, Workshop Kitchen and Culture is one of our new favourite spots downtown for a business lunch, pre-theatre bite or just a good dinner out. A hefty menu provides lots of choice, with many dishes available in two sizes—big and bigger, perfect for shared dining. Our (latest) order consisted of hummus-crusted lamb rack, fried cauliflower with garlic sauce and several of the house-made sodas. Next time, we plan to give up some control and try one of the three-, five- or seven-course “improv” tasting menus.

You’re definitely in good hands here. —Sara Samson
