New Italian Eats: Bugigattolo

Liberty Villagers have scored a charming neighbourhood spot for Italian.

Bugigattolo takes up a tiny and charming spot, so piccolo that you might blink and miss it. But you’d then be out of eating homey Italian dishes, the kind that make us wish we had nonnas to cook for us: rich vegetarian lasagna, pizzas loaded with toppings (hardcore Neapolitan pizza lovers, take note: the crust here is not of the thin variety) and fresh mozzarella paired with luscious tomatoes. Opt for ordering à la carte for the best value.

Pop into this hole in the wall (which is what its name translates to), order a glass of vino, say "salute" and you’re all set. —Karen Kwan
