Here’s a tasty way to do some good this month. Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is BC and the Yukon’s only pediatric palliative care provider, caring for more than 830 children with life-threatening illnesses and the families who love them. Canuck Place gives warmth and nourishment during times when families need it most, often in the form of fresh-baked cookies from its kitchen.
February 23 is Cookie Day at Canuck Place. And what goes perfectly with cookies? Milk! BC Dairy is the presenting sponsor for the annual Cookies for Canuck Place fundraiser, now lovingly dubbed Milk and Cookies for Canuck Place. This beloved fundraising initiative is taking place from now until the end of March.
You can help children and families make memories and ensure the cookie jar is always full by: purchasing treats from the Canuck Place Cookie club, including these participating bakeries; donating to the Canuck Place Cookie Jar; fundraising by hosting your own bake sale.
