PRE-BOARD BUFF AND POLISH

March 23, 2008

Lifestyle & Parenting

We like to think of ourselves as officious vacationers. Passport? Check.
Sunglasses, bikini and latest issue of British Vogue? Check.
Manicure? Oops.

It was with some trepidation that we booked a
pre-boarding manicure ($30) at Trudeau Airports Yul
Spa
. Would we make it onto the plane smudge free? And what kind of
job could they possibly do in 25 minutes? To our great delight, we
walked out buffed, hydrated and polished in O.P.I.s latest Keys
To My Karma red
. Best of all, the manicure lasted a full eight days
with nary a chip.

Too bad visits require a boarding pass or wed be in there every week.

No appointment needed, Yul Spa, Gate 51 at the International Departures
Hall, Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport, 1-866-985-5766, www.yulspa.com
