5 New Clean Beauty Products To Consider Trying

June 5, 2023

When it comes to clean beauty, choices are more abundant than ever, but what does it mean to be planet friendly? For some brands it’s to opt for a refillable package, while others focus on using recycled materials. There is also the option to make a sustainable choice with natural and cruelty-free ingredients. Here are some of our favourite new launches in the clean beauty space.

the body shop. When it comes to delicious scents and moisturising body products, The Body Shop is always one of our go-to’s. We love that we can count on The Body Shop for highly effective products while also being good for the planet, with sustainability at the core of their ethos. For sunny days, we’ve been dousing ourselves in their new limited edition body yogurt, Zesty Lime Blossom ($20), a citrusy and floral scent that smells just like margaritas on the patio.

nudestix. While Canadian and clean-beauty brand Nudestix has been around for a minute, they’re having a moment in the spotlight thanks to their beauty director, it girl Sofia Richie Grainge. For her wedding she wore a combination of Nudestix products in signature shade Sunkissed for that healthy glow and we totally get the hype. Now available in a bronzer ($39), blush ($39) and lip and eye crayon ($31), this no-makeup makeup look has never been easy to achieve.

youth to the people. We’ll be the first to admit that we don’t get nearly as much sleep as we should but thanks to the newest product from Youth to the People, we can fake it. Certified clean at Sephora, Peptides + C Energy Eye Concentrate ($63) is suitable for every skin type and targets the look of tired eyes by brightening and plumping your undereyes. It’s truly beauty sleep in a bottle.

back to earth. Some of the best skincare products are made with ingredients that are found in nature. New to our routine, the Glow Facial Mask ($40) from Back to Earth Skin is formulated with Mineral Microbiome Clay Complex and a blend of natural oils to absorb excess oils while helping to replenish, hydrate, soothe and calm skin. Best of all, unlike traditional clay masks, the Back to Earth Skin version never hardens and cakes on your skin making removal effortless.

220km inc. With skincare sometimes a bit of customization is needed to ensure the most optimal results. 220KM Inc. offers 10 different powders ($50 each) featuring foodgrade ingredients that are zero waste, nutrient rich, freeze dried and stone grinded to really pack a punch. Each blend targets a different skin, hair and scalp solution making it easy for you to mix and match based on your needs.
