We’ve all heard of an ice cream truck but The Praguery is a soft serve ice cream truck that also serves chimney cakes. In fact, at The Praguery, you can get a chimney cake filled with soft serve from one of their five truck locations.

Tucked away in the Granville Island Public Market is The Milkman, a little bodega with a dairy focus. The Milkman carries eggs, and milk, and also Dole Whip soft serve. When I visited, the young woman in front of me ordered a Dole Whip, and when she tasted it she exclaimed, “It tastes like Disneyland!”
On Main Street, YUM Sweet Shop is serving up some of the best of Vancouver’s soft serve, as well as an assortment of candy, cookies, and traditional ice cream. YUM is also about to open their second location in Kits soon.
Popina Canteen in Granville Island serves a selection of local fresh seafood, sandwiches, and burgers, as well as their signature Puff Cream. Together with Birchwood Dairy, Popina has created a soft serve ice cream which they serve in freshly baked cream puffs.
