A cellular stunt will be happening this weekend, on on September 2 in Toronto and September 4 in Vancouver, that will see some lucky Canadians snag a new phone.
Samsung Canada is partnering with Canadian creator Saif Shawaf to surprise unsuspecting Torontonians and Vancouverites on the street with an offer they can’t refuse: Saif will literally get down on one knee and “propose,” asking if they will marry him join the flip side. If they say yes, their response will trigger an over-the-top moment to celebrate their commitment to switching over from a boring candy-bar smartphone to the latest Samsung foldable, the Galaxy Z Flip5. And, instead of a ring, Saif, on behalf of Samsung Canada, will gift five Canadians with a brand-new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 on the spot.
If you want to potentially be one of the lucky ones, head to Toronto’s Distillery District, Harbour Front and Trinity Bellwoods on September 2, and Vancouver’s Engagement sculpture, Yaletown or Kitsilano on September 4. Here’s to flipping forever!
