Starting here in Canada, Whistler Blackcomb‘s iconic Fire and Ice show, a spectacular display of pyrotechnics, music, and live entertainment alongside Whistler Blackcomb’s Snow School’s finest pros launching themselves over a huge jump and through a ring of fire. Down to our American neighbours, Northstar California is bringing back one of the Tahoe region’s favorite traditions with Noel Nights. Every Friday evening throughout December, families and friends can enjoy ice skating, s’mores and hot cocoa by the fire pits, après at the new café called “Vous,” photos with Santa, and live music.
Heavenly Mountain Resort, also in California, is partnering with Heavenly Village to create Heavenly Holidays, activities the whole family will love, including skiing with Santa, an ice sculpting contest, tree lighting, live music, and more.
Beaver Creek in Colorado is kicking off the holiday season with their 41st Annual Tree Lighting Spectacular on November 24. The village will be bustling with activities, including ice skating, meet & greets with Santa, a crafts workshop, holiday market, and a Spectacular show before fireworks light up the night sky and the official Christmas tree of Beaver Creek Village is illuminated. If you prefer to visit for the New Year, ring 2024 at the New Year’s Eve Celebration with performers and live music throughout Beaver Creek Village, with a screening of the ball drop at 10 pm local time, followed by a fireworks show to welcome 2024.
