Become a Bouquet Pro for Mother’s Day

May 4, 2015

You know what your mom really wants for Mother’s Day? A chance for you guys to spend time together. Also, flowers. Skip the simply proffered bouquet this year and instead conjoin mom’s favourite things by co-enrolling in one of these special floral arraigning classes.

1On Mother’s Day proper, from 9-11am, Old Faithful is hosting esteemed florist Nicola Adam for a morning of bouquet building and light snacks. Bonus: while you’re there, you can pick up a couple extra treats for mom, like whiskey infused caramel by Portland’s Alma confectioners and some Mast Brother’s chocolate. $79.50 per person, at Oldfaithfulshop.com

2Prefer to nab mom tickets for a later date? The Cross Decor and Design is offering a flower school by Celsia Floral on May 21st from 6-8pm. Using garden-inspired blooms for a wildflower-y esthetic, you’ll compile a lovely bouquet, learn tricks for filling your home with fresh florals and get an assortment of supplies to take home for future use. $125 per person at Thecrossdesign.com

A pretty awesome gift.—Adrienne Matei
