New Eats: XXI Chophouse

Seeing the doctor usually fills us with dread, but the Doctor’s House is one appointment we go to gladly.

We’re speaking, of course, about the Doctor’s House property just north of the city, recently given a $4 million reno and launched as XXI Chophouse restaurant. The decidedly modern design of the steakhouse stands out against its rustic, leafy-green setting—and the food sticks out, too. Our dinner kicked off with a luscious bounty of lobster, sweet crab legs and oysters, not to mention filet mignon served on a hefty, handsome wooden cutting board.
