Gone Digital

September 23, 2010

As much as we adore leafing through our perfumed glossies, the new tide
of paperless mags gets our vote too.

Here in Toronto, both Covet
Garden
and The
Kit
have people talking. The former, a home décor magazine,
spotlights the gorgeous east-end home of illustrator Julia Breckenreid
and her partner, user-experience designer Ryan Feeley, in its first
issue.

We take a peek into the homes and lives of some of the citys most
interesting peoplespaces that have not been styled by interior
decorators. Covet Garden is inspirational, not aspirational,
say the founders.

Over at The Kit, a team of veteran magazine editors offers
readers a digital beauty experience that addresses the body inside and
out. Expect well-written, snappy articles on diet, exercise and hair,
skin and beauty trends.

If digi-mags do end up booting those glossies out the door, heres what
to do with your vintage Vogues.
