Trend Alert: Neutral Nails Take Center Stage @ NYFW With CND 

Get ready to paint the town beige because neutral nails are stealing the spotlight at New York Fashion Week (NYFW)—and leading the charge is none other than CND. As we bid farewell to the bold and experimental colour palettes of 2023, there’s a noticeable shift toward elegant and timeless nails this year.  

Reflecting on the evolving nail trend landscape, CND Co-Founder, Jan Arnold shares her insights: “2023 was a year filled with experimental colours and over the top designs. In 2024, we will still see many bright, playful hues/patterns taking centre stage but there’s a noticeable trend with neutrals, too—especially with a twist. Think mini rhinestones or pearls delicately floating above the cuticles, added iridescence and shimmer, or unconventional French designs.”  

In line with this trend, we were not surprised to see neutral nails gracing the runaways at NYFW, including this manicure for Marc Jacobs Fall 2024 runaway show. 2. Apply one layer of CND Shellac Base Coat and cure using button 1 on the CND LED Lamp.   
3. Apply two layers of CND Shellac Long Wear Polish in Bare Chemise, Field Fox or Satin Pajamas and cure each layer using button 2S.   
4. Finish with one layer of CND Shellac No Wipe+ Top Coatfor optimized wearability and shine.  Cure using button 3 and clean the nails with 99% IPA.   
5. Moisturize with CND SolarOil to condition nails and cuticles.
