Who doesn’t love thick and creamy milk chocolate? Whether you enjoy it to wash down a nostalgic meal like grilled cheese or you have it just for a special treat, there’s no denying that this timeless sugary beverage puts a smile on everyone’s faces. Well, you’ll be even happier to know that chocolate milk doesn’t just come in a frosty glass—it comes in a polish bottle, too, as this is now a big trend for nails. This season, it’s all about adorning our hands with rich browns that are reminiscent of our most beloved childhood drink. Here are six shades to sip on. —Jennifer Cox
BKIND’s Moka hued nail polish ($16) is a creamy dark caramel with a glossy finish. What we love about this polish is that it’s a vegan, 77% plant-based, 21-FREE, professional-grade nail polish that does it all: it applies easily, dries quickly, and gives you a long-lasting, luminous finish every time.
Les Mains Hermes in Gris Étoupe ($63) is part of a collection of polishes that combine care with colour. While the shades are deep and rich, they also contain ingredients that help you care for and restore your hands. This one has radiant chocolate milk colour and a long-lasting lacquered shine, and its formula, made in France, is composed of at least 71% ingredients of natural origin.
The MANUCURIST Green Nail Polish in Chestnut (a velvety colour) from The Green Jungle Beauty Shop ($20) has beautiful pigmentation along with extreme shine for nails that really stand out. These polishes are really easy to apply thanks to their professional-quality brushes, which never streak or leave behind any lines. They are also 12-free, vegan, and cruelty free.
Essie has an expressie collection of nail polishes and the shade Cold Brew Crew ($11, available at Walmart Canada) is a warm mid-tone brown with red undertones that is deliciously chic. It dries in about a minute, giving you chocolate milk nails on-the-go. It will stay put for days with one quick easy application. It has an angled brush for self-application with both hands too!
The Over The Taupe Nail Laquer from OPI ($12) is from the company’s original and renowned nail polish formula. In addition to this yummy shade, there are more than 200 others. They all apply seamlessly and dry quickly. And this polish will last up to seven days, so it’s worth the time you invest in your mani.
Roasted Chestnut polish from Sally Hansen ($13, available at Shopper’s Drug Mart) is good, kind, and pure, the company insists, and they are right. This timeless polish is 100% vegan and 15-free. It is also made with sustainable bamboo that delivers nutrients to nails for strength and growth, as well as sustainable marine algae for hydration and nourishment. You’ll get a week of colour and shine.

I would love to try the Chocolate – Milk nail polish.
I get my toe nail’s polished but my hands look old so I do not usually do my finger nails but I think I would like to try this.
