Would You Spend $10K on a Valentine’s Day Date?

February 9, 2017

A B.C.-based luxury travel company, Butiq Escapes, is offering the "ultimate" Valentine’s Day package—starting at just $10,000.

The deal, according to the company’s website, includes a helicopter ride through the mountains, ice-cave exploration, a "comfortable" al-fresco dining experience inside an actual volcano (yes, we checked, these do exist in British Columbia) … and whatever else you wish to make the night special. BE’s founders, Aidan Henry and Ryan Clark, along with CTO Geoff Murie, say they’ve been "travelling, running events and eating our way through this province, and have a lot of secrets to share with members only." Their aim: to offer escapes that will "blow your mind."

Obvious caveat: your bank account may be blown, too (but can you really put a price tag on love?)! —Noa Nichol
