How does MONDAY Haircare address the unique challenges that summer weather poses to hair, such as humidity and sun exposure?

Summer is undoubtedly the best time of the year, but it can also mean unwanted sweat, and of course exposure to the sun and swimming. This tends to mean oilier roots, and drier ends than usual. Can you share some tips on how to incorporate MONDAY Haircare products into a summer haircare routine to maintain healthy and vibrant hair throughout the season?

I always say that looking after your hair is mostly about protecting and taking care of your strands. Your hair doesn’t regenerate as quickly as your skin does, which is turning over almost daily. It’s important to nourish and protect your hair, especially your ends, with hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner formulas, and treatments such as Leave-Ins and Masks.

What specific MONDAY Haircare products would you recommend for someone looking to protect their hair color from fading due to sun and chlorine exposure?

We created our COLOUR PROTECT range for exactly that! It contains active ingredients and essential Amino Acids that help seal strands and protect from environmental factors, to lock in colour and prevent it from unnecessary fading. I also always recommend wearing our Leave-In Conditioner when swimming or in the sun for extended periods. It helps protect hair from salt, chlorine and the sun. How can MONDAY Haircare’s clarifying shampoo help with product buildup and sweat, and how often should it be used during the summer months?

Our CLARIFY Shampoo gives a great thorough cleanse, and the Conditioner provides nice weightless hydration. Those whose hair tends to get quite oily in the summer months can use it as their regular shampoo/conditioner combo, otherwise it can be used as a detox once a week.
