PREPARE THE DOUGH

Start by mixing the dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk together two cups of flour, one teaspoon of baking soda, and half a teaspoon of kosher salt. Then use a mixer to combine the wet ingredients, including one cup of brown sugar, half a cup of granulated sugar, one tablespoon of vanilla extract and two sticks of butter. Combine for about two minutes, until it’s wet and fluffy. Then add two large eggs, one at a time.

Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet, along with the mix-ins below for top-notch treats. Once the dough is prepared, scoop onto a baking seat and pop in an oven at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, letting cool before enjoying.

CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE

For a classic recipe, the key is about twelve ounces of semi-sweet chocolate. To achieve the satisfying consistency, roughly chop the chocolate for ooey-gooey bites.

BROWNIE COOKIE

A quarter cup of unsweetened cocoa powder will make all the difference. Add this cocoa powder when mixing the dry ingredients, then add another half cup cup of semisweet chocolate chips to take the cookie to the next level.

WHITE CHIP MACADAMIA NUT COOKIE

Best enjoyed in cookie form, an indulgent bite full of macadamia nuts is irresistibly hard to forget. As such, one cup of coarsely chopped macadamia nuts and one cup white chocolate will transform the dough.

BONUS: CREAM SODA COOKIE RECIPE

Sure to be a new favourite! For just the right amount of cream soda sweetness, add 1 tablespoon of cream soda extract to the wet ingredients. Then finish the cooled cookies with pink cream soda icing, adding a dash of cream soda extract to the frosting for further nostalgic flavour.
