Fashion month has officially wrapped. It started off in the bold and trendy sidewalks of New York City, and wrapped in the historic and chic streets of Paris—and of course, we can’t forget about London and Milan, either. During the four notorious fashion weeks—together making “fashion month”—top designers showcase their collections for the upcoming season. September, dedicated to showing spring and summer. But while the runway shows take centre stage, revealing what will be trending in future seasons, it’s the street style of attendees and fashionable locals that exhibit what is trending right now.
Throughout fashion month, we saw an array of looks across all different aesthetics being worn by what we like to call “fashion people.” While true fashion is fueled by personal style at the forefront, that doesn’t mean there isn’t room to incorporate trends. And after combing through hundreds of street style photographs, there were some key trends that stood out above the rest.

Barn Jackets
As the weather cools down, jackets are naturally making their seasonal comeback. While it may be out of necessity, there’s no denying the styling power a great jacket holds. Toward the end of Fashion Month, as temperatures dipped, jackets became a key focal point in many outfits—barn jackets, in particular, were a standout choice. This casual, workwear-inspired layer was worn with everything from denim pants to maxi skirts, proving its endless styling possibilities.
Leopard Print
Leopard print has been the bold print of choice for some time now, and it doesn’t appear to be going anywhere soon! The fierce animal print was spotted on jackets, ballet flats, hats, pants, and more. As trendy and bold as the print may seem, it has earned its spot(s) (see what we did there?) as a true classic, as it always comes back in style.
Office Siren
You have probably seen the office siren aesthetic while scrolling through your social feeds, but the corporate-chic way of dressing is officially stepping out into the real world! There are countless ways to embrace the office siren look, with blazers, pencil skirts, button-ups, ties, and loafers serving as key staples.
Bag Charms
One of the more playful trends spotted across recent fashion weeks was bag charms. Some are calling it “Jane Birkin-fying” bags—essentially, accessorizing the accessory. When it comes to this trend, there’s no such thing as too many charms. The more, the merrier!
Statement Jewelry
Statement jewelry, in the way of oversized necklaces and earrings, chunky bracelets, and dramatic hair accessories, is taking over the fashion scene, according to photo evidence at Fashion Month. Styled with even the simplest of outfits, statement jewelry adds an element of interest and personal style to any look. From bold chain necklaces to playful resin rings, there are so many ways to incorporate the statement-making trend.
Sporty Chic
From the runway to the streets, sporty-chic was everywhere during Fashion Month (Miu Miu instantly comes to mind for its expert pairing of sporty garments with feminine accessories). Rugby shirts, baseball jerseys, and other athletic staples were styled by “fashion people” alongside contrasting pieces like pointed-toe kitten heels and embellished accessories.
