When it comes to yogawear, we’re quite particular. Our practice of choice (Bikram) involves a wide range of movement and a near-embarrassing amount of perspiration, and, sadly, most workout gear doesn’t quite make the cut.
As such, we entered the hot room donning pieces from Lululemon‘s new 11-piece limited-edition summertime collab with Taryn Toomey (founder of her namesake The Class) with a grain of salt—it takes a certain caliber of clothing to survive a 90-minute stint in Bikram’s so-called torture chamber. To our delight, the seamless Awakening Bra ($54) and matching ribbed-at-the-knee Crop ($88) fit like a second skin, allowed us total freedom of movement and, best, kept that soaked-with-sweat feeling at bay (they were stylish, too, making us look like a million Bikram bucks).
After our final savasana, wrapping ourselves in the Heart Opener Knit Wrap ($98) felt like the perfect chakra-minded close to class—and kept us cosy all the way home. —Noa Nichol
