Now open: Heritage Asian Eatery

October 5, 2016

Bao lovers rejoice. We found your newest, best fix, thanks to the just opened Heritage Asian Eatery.

The brainchild of acclaimed chef Felix Zhou and industry veterans Natasha Romero and Paul Zhang, it offers the perfect combination of Far East Flavours, made from the local, sustainably sourced ingredients.

Along with serving-up the best of bao (aka, steamed buns filled with love) we recently got a sneak taste of their breakfast and lunch menu, and can confidently say this place is far-out-good.

From their breakfast bowls of tender pork belly to their mushroom crepes, on a rainy day or just because, we couldn’t think of a better, more satisfying start to our day. And for lunch or an afternoon ‘fill my belly now’, their duck bao and its moist, tenderness is hard to beat. Same for their shitake mushroom bao, chicken or salmon rice bowls, five-spice chicken wings and fried cauliflower sides – genius.

With seating for 40, Heritage is open for both sit-down and take-out breakfast and lunch service Monday through Friday. —Aurea Dempsey
