Vancouver is about to get a dose of subversive street art as The Art of Banksy Without Limits makes its highly anticipated debut in Gastown on February 20, 2025. After captivating audiences across Europe, the U.S., South America, Asia, and Australia, this immersive exhibition—featuring over 200 of Banksy’s works, including 50 certified originals—is finally landing in Western Canada.
Hosted at 1 Alexander Street, the show will bring Banksy’s provocative, politically charged art indoors, showcasing everything from stencils and sculptures to large-scale mural installations. One of the highlights? A cutting-edge hologram installation, making its Western Canadian premiere, offering an unprecedented look into the anonymous artist’s creative world.
From his iconic Flower Thrower and Kissing Coppers to installations from his dystopian Dismaland theme park, the exhibition explores Banksy’s unfiltered takes on war, capitalism, and social justice. Visitors can also engage with his activism through a Ukraine-focused installation and a DIY spray-painting station, where a small donation lets you tag your own T-shirt in true Banksy style.
Tickets start at $23 and go on sale January 30 at 7 AM PST at artofbanksyca.com/vancouver. Don’t miss your chance to step inside the world of one of the most influential artists of our time. —Vita Daily
