Between Nancys Cheese, the Annex HodgePodge and Frangipane, theres no
shortage of tasty bites on Dupont Street.
But our lunchtime vote goes to Ezras Pound, a charming
little café with checkerboard flooring, mismatched chairs and a
menu that hits the spot every time.
A cheddar cheese sandwich, smothered in apple butter and dollops of
onion marmalade is our pick, followed by a frothy shot of espresso and a
homemade chocolate-dipped macaroon.
Of course, this place is so cozy and inviting (the music is terrific)
lunch may turn into afternoon tea. Ah well, how important was that
meeting anyway?
