On February 6, 2025, the world will come together in song, spirit, and celebration as Young Voices, the largest children’s choir, pays tribute to Bob Marley’s 80th birthday with a Worldwide Singalong. Featuring a medley of his most iconic songs—including Three Little Birds, One Love, and Jamming—this extraordinary event will unite 140,000 students across 38 countries, amplifying Marley’s timeless message of peace, love, and unity.
Manchester Takes Center Stage
At the heart of the celebration, 8,000 children will raise their voices in unison at Co-op Live in Manchester, UK, leading the global chorus in a performance streamed worldwide. Schools, families, and communities everywhere are invited to join the singalong for free, gaining access to exclusive learning resources so participants can sing from their classrooms, homes, or assembly halls, creating a truly borderless tribute to the reggae legend.
A Legacy That Lives On
Bob Marley’s influence extends far beyond music. His lyrics of hope and resilience continue to inspire generations, making this singalong more than just a performance—it’s a movement. A special message from Marley’s daughter, Cedella Marley, will also be shared during the event, reinforcing the enduring power of her father’s legacy.
Reggae Month: A Celebration of Jamaica’s Cultural Heritage
The singalong also aligns with Reggae Month in Jamaica, a time when the island nation celebrates its rich musical heritage with concerts, live performances, and cultural events. Bob Marley remains at the heart of Jamaican identity, and this global event will help share that spirit with the world.
Join the Movement
Schools and individuals can still sign up to take part in this historic event and access resources to be part of the world’s largest children’s choir.
