Though we’ve made gratitude a daily habit by writing down what we’re thankful for each morning (or at least thinking it), this Thanksgiving we’re thought we’d share with our readers what makes us feel blessed.
Lise Boullard, Managing Editor
Along with good health, family and friends, I’m thankful for having won the geographical lottery by being born in Canada, one of the most peaceful nations in the world where we enjoy clean water, abundant resources, democratic freedom and stunning natural beauty. And having a Prime Minister who’s easy on the eyes doesn’t hurt, either.
Aurea Dempsey, Vancouver Editor
I’ve been living in Vancouver for under a year, and still have ‘pinch me’ moments thanks to the beautiful mountains and water I get to see and enjoy every day. I’m also extremely thankful for the new friends I’ve made and the opportunity to be a VITA Editor too! I just love keeping a pulse on the latest lifestyle trends including health, fitness, fashion, food and places. To be able to write about them too, is the cherry on top. Thank you. VITA!
Kelsey Klassen, Editor-in-Chief
I’m thankful to all the Vitamin Daily readers who shared their excitement and support as we embarked on our evolution to VITA. September 1st was an immense day at VITA HQ, and reading your comments and emails made it all worthwhile.
Karen Kwan, Toronto Editor
I’m thankful for the good health of loved ones … and for the Backstreet Boys headlining residency at the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas in 2017!
Aileen Lalor, Vancouver Contributor
I’m grateful for my family, near and far, and for the technology that lets me stay close to them all. When my parents emigrated from Ireland to England 30 years ago, we stayed in touch with my grandparents via weekly phone calls. I moved thousands of miles, but my daughter can still see and speak to her granny and granddad every day.
