All Aboard The Crown Royal Rig! A Whisky-Fuelled Tour Is Set To Roll Through Manitoba

Get ready, Manitoba—Crown Royal is taking its Canadian spirit on the road (literally!) and making a big, bold, purple statement along the way. From March 25–27, the Crown Royal Rig—a larger-than-life, whisky barrel-inspired 18-wheeler—is hitting the streets to celebrate the brand’s roots, raise a glass to local craftsmanship, and give back to the community that’s been aging the good stuff since 1968.

That’s right, Crown Royal’s distillery in Gimli, Manitoba has been at the heart of Canada’s #1 whisky for decades, thanks to the passion and skill of nearly 80 workers who craft and age over 2 million barrels each year. This road trip is all about honouring that hometown pride and reminding Canadians that home is where the Crown is.

The three-day tour is loaded with local flavour—from tailgates and tunes to cocktails and community care. Here’s where to catch the Rig:

March 25 – Winnipeg (True North Square) Kick things off with a pre-game tailgate party, where you can sip complimentary Crown Royal cocktails and watch the Jets vs. Capitals game on the big screen. Game night just got royally upgraded.

March 26 – Gimli Recreational Centre Crown Royal heads home! The Rig rolls into Gimli, the birthplace of Canada’s iconic whisky, for an evening of giving back. Visitors will pack boxes for Harvest Manitoba and toast the town that made the Crown.

March 27 – Winnipeg (True North Square) Cap off the tour with a Kane Brown pre-concert tailgate. With Crown Royal as an official partner, expect music, cocktails, prizes, and all the good vibes before the big show.
