Summer tunes go hand-in-hand with vacation nostalgia, but even if youre
staycating this year youll need the perfect backyard compilation.
Skip Summer of 69 and check out The
Albertans. Despite the provincially patriotic moniker, only one
member of the young quintet is Albertan by birth and the band was formed
in New York before relocating to Vancouver.
Their mix of quintessential sing-along summer jams includes the catchy
and upbeat "High Noon" and the female backed, doo-whopping "Marie."
Just dont ask them about the 88 Olympics or The Stampede.
