Bask in these stellar BC white wines

July 6, 2016

Lifestyle & Parenting

July came at us fast and manic, spraying sun-kissed freckles and daring our lips to find sips that satiate. As a region of local lifestyle, it should come as no surprise that our own backyard cures our thirst with excitingly diverse white wines, crafted first to quench, and second to match your Kits beach lobster boils, rooftop BBQ jams, Coal Harbour patio dates, or shotgun wedding ovations. Brave summer with these favourite B.C. whites.

Sea Star Salish Sea, 2015 wins hearts everywhere she goes. Salty West Coast minerality with ripe notes of melon and lime, this wine is refreshing. Salish Sea is the liquid expression of Vancouver Island. As I take a sip I dream of lightly grilled scallops spritzed with sea salt and lime … $22 at private wine stores.
