Until our next tropical getaway, we plan on weathering winter by transitioning our homes to satisfy our Caribbean cravings.
Kate Thornley-Hall’s new Cayman Islands Collection is inspired by the Grand Cayman, where she spent a week falling in love with the locals (pretty much the happiest people on earth, and for good reason: they live in paradise). The Canadian internior designer’s luxe line includes everything from pretty toile throw pillows (from $120 each) to graphic carpets and wallpaper. Thornley-Hall says that, for her, the most fun piece in the collection is the Cayman toile fabric: “I’ve always loved French toile and when I show it to people from Grand Cayman and they almost get teary and emotional, it’s amazing."
All that’s missing from our virtual vacation is a tropical cocktail in hand; thankfully, we can fix that easily, too. —Karen Kwan
