Debuting July 22 at the iconic Pepino’s Spaghetti House on Commercial Drive, this juicy Chianti is more than just a wine—it’s a love letter to spaghetti nights, oversized pours, and the restaurant’s mischievous mouse mascot.
Crafted in collaboration with Italy’s Magna Terra Winery and dreamt up by Banda Volpi’s Wine Director Kristi Linneboe, Mouse House Red is a Sangiovese with swagger. Think notes of cherry, cranberry, balsamic, and woody herbs—all designed to cozy up perfectly to Pepino’s saucy classics. “This mouse loves wine,” says Linneboe. “But he’d prefer to guzzle a 9 oz glass than do a tasting flight—and we encourage you to do the same.”
Everything about the launch is laced with signature Banda Volpi charm. The wine comes served in custom “mouse-sized” glassware, and fans can even snag limited-edition merch—a cheeky hat featuring Pepino passed out from one glass too many, designed by the award-winning Glasfurd & Walker studio.
