You don’t want to layer too much skincare before your makeup to avoid pilling. You need just enough so your skin is hydrated and protected from the sun. This e.l.f. Sunscreen is fantastic. L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Liquid Foundation
For foundation, she used the L’Oreal True Match Foundation, which just so happens to be the foundation I used in high school. I’m so thankful the foundation now comes with a pump, unlike before. The foundation was actually reformulated in 2023 with an expanded shade range, updated packaging, and added ingredients like hyaluronic acid. I liked the foundation before and like it even better now. It features a lightweight, hydrating formula that appears natural and has a subtle sheen. L’Oréal Paris Infallible Full Wear Concealer
The L’Oréal Paris Infallible concealer reminds me of the Tarte Shape Tape concealer. It’s definitely full coverage. Shelby says don’t be afraid to use a lot of concealer, but in my opinion, a little goes a long way. Make sure to blend it out fast because it sets quickly. $20.97, amazon.ca

L’Oreal Infallible Blur-Fection Longwear Loose Setting Powder
The L’Oreal Blur-Fection powder is not available in Canada, so sadly I couldn’t try it. However, it did look stunning on Shelby when she used it. She used the light pink shade, which not only brightened her under-eye but it definitely looked like it blurred her pores. If you’re looking for an affordable loose powder, try the e.l.f. Halo Glow Setting Powder in light pink. Apply it with a brush and dust it on the face. It’s lightweight and doesn’t dry out the skin.
L’Oréal Paris Infallible Up To 24H Brow Lamination
This is one of my favourite products I tried from her routine. It’s a clear brow gel that does a fantastic job at locking in your eyebrow. Make sure to scrape off the excess product before applying it to your eyebrows. Shelby didn’t add any colour to her brows; she only used this gel to hold her eyebrows in place. $14.96, amazon.ca

She used the shade Confident Pink in the L’Oreal Infallible Blush, which is a super bright hot pink shade. These blushes are very pigmented, so make sure to tap off the excess on your brush before you apply it to your face. $22.96, amazon.ca
Maybelline New York The Falsies Lash Lift Waterproof Mascara Volumizing
This Maybelline mascara has a fatter wand and has fibres in it to help lift your lashes. It doesn’t clump, and it helps lengthen your lashes. $11.99, amazon.ca
NYX Professional Makeup Duck Plump Plumping Lip Liner
If you want your lips to look slightly bigger, these lip liners will do just that. It does give you a little bit of a tingly feeling, but I don’t mind it. The formula is pigmented and glides on easily onto the lips. She used the shade Subtle Touch, which is a light brown shade. $13.96, amazon.ca

I really enjoy when something fun is also easy and relaxing—just like this makeup routine. The way I use my free time is similar, and this site has been a pleasant surprise. It works well, the mobile version is good, and there are enough choices to make it fun without being too much. For me, that balance is really important.
