Ahoy, Foodies! Pirate Pak Day Returns To White Spot August 13 (Win!)

On Wednesday, August 13, the legendary B.C. chain invites diners of all ages—yes, even grown-up mateys—to sail into summer with a classic Pirate Pak meal. For one day only, $2 from every Pak sold will be donated to Zajac Ranch for Children, a local charity that offers unforgettable summer camp experiences for kids and young adults with serious medical conditions and disabilities.

Originally created almost 60 years ago for the 10-and-under crowd, the Pirate Pak has become a rite of passage for generations of British Columbians. Served in its signature paper boat (100% recyclable and compostable, of course), each meal includes your choice of burger or entrée, fresh local fries, creamy coleslaw, a scoop of rich ice cream, and the pièce de résistance—a “gold” chocolate coin.

Since Pirate Pak Day began 13 years ago, more than 530,000 Pirate Paks have been served and over $1 million raised for Zajac Ranch. That’s a lot of happy campers—and a lot of ice cream (more than 1.3 million ounces, to be exact!).
