Window Wow

Walk by Holt Renfrew Vancouver between now and June 24 and you’ll experience a (stylish) visual treat.

The luxury retailer’s Granville and Dunsmuir Street windows have been dressed in tribute to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Spring 2017 exhibition—Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between. A testament to Kawakubo’s status as one of the most important and influential designers of our time, this unique installation features six original stunning pieces on loan from the exhibition. Behind the looks hang oversized images of iconic ensembles on the runway.

Best of all, this "window shop" can be brought to life by shopping both the Comme des Garçons and Comme des Garçons Play women’s collection, as well as the Comme des Garçons Play collection for men, in store. —Noa Nichol
