Back-to-school shopping just got a whole lot more exciting. On Friday, August 29, Adventure Soles, a brand-new kids’ shoe store from Little Treasures Kids, will officially open its doors at the Granville Island Kids Market with a grand opening celebration designed for the whole family.
The festivities kick off with a 3 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by interactive games, a family photo station, tasty treats, and giveaways hosted by Vancouver-based footwear favourite Stonz. Young shoppers can also head straight to the Shoe Charm Bar, a hands-on station where they can decorate and personalize their kicks with charms, laces, and creative accessories—because every pair deserves a little personality.
Adventure Soles’ shelves are lined with a curated mix of beloved brands, from Geox Kids, Saucony, New Balance Kids, and Reebok Kids to local favourites like Stonz, ensuring there’s something for every step, stomp, and sprint. The shop was created with one mission: to make shoe shopping fun, memorable, and stress-free for families.
“We wanted to create a store where families could find the very best in kids’ footwear, all in one place,” says owner Winnie Hsu. “Granville Island is such a special community hub, and we’re thrilled to open our doors here to help kids put their best foot forward.”
