Maybe the past is like an anchor holding us back.
Maybe, you have to let go of who you were to become who you will be
But just who was Carrie Bradshaw before her column, before Big and
before she met her three best friends? In The
Carrie Diaries, SATC fans finally find out.
Readers join Carrie for her senior year at Castlebury High, where she
grapples with crushes and cliques, family and fashion, swim team,
suburbia and (of course) sex. As she begins to discover her writing
voice, the young Bradshaw learns that even the hottest guy in town cant
compete with her big city dreams.
Shes no Judy Blume, but Candace Bushnell is shockingly good at teen
fiction. We would happily read the Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte
Diaries too.
Okay, maybe just Samanthas.
