We sit down with Andrea Baldi, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini Americas, to talk about the grand reopening, the bold new corporate identity, and how models like the Temerario, Revuelto and the Urus SE are reshaping what performance—and luxury retail—looks like in British Columbia. Vancouver is known for its love of luxury and sustainability—why is this city such an important market for Lamborghini right now? 

The Vancouver showroom updates come at a time of continued growth for our brand and the strong quality of our dealer network. The Direzione Cor Tauri strategy, supported by the largest investment in our history, signifies a commitment to future generations, inspiring and serving as a model for innovation and sustainable progress on the path to carbon neutrality by 2050. As we progress further in our Direzione Cor Tauri program, we align with British Columbia’s green approach while catering to Vancouver as a major hub of Canada’s luxury market.

Tonight, we’re seeing Lamborghini’s entire hybrid lineup. How do you describe this new chapter of “electrified Lamborghini” to both long-time fans and new customers? 

Electrification is not a compromise for us – it’s a performance enhancer. While staying true to our DNA of cutting-edge design, unmistakable character, and the thrill of fun-to-drive, we’re using technology to push boundaries further. This marks a new era of innovation that elevates every Lamborghini, not just in sustainability, but in sheer driving exhilaration.

Lamborghini design is instantly recognizable. How does the new showroom reflect the same sharp, emotional DNA of your cars? 

A showroom is often the first physical touchpoint with our brand, so it is essential that it reflects the same emotional appeal and bold design language as our cars. The new Vancouver showroom embodies this philosophy through Lamborghini’s updated corporate design aesthetic, which is sharp, modern, and immersive. It integrates state-of-the-art technology and showcases our Collezione and Accessori Originali fashion collections, allowing visitors to connect with the lifestyle behind the brand. Most importantly, the Ad Personam room offers clients an intimate, hands-on experience to customize their Lamborghini with an almost limitless palette of colors and finishes.

Lamborghini is legendary for performance. How do hybrids keep that raw Lamborghini spirit alive while pushing into the future of mobility?

The Revuelto, the Temerario, the Urus SE—each has its own personality. If you had to pick one for a weekend in Vancouver, which would you take and why? 

I would definitely choose to drive the Lamborghini Revuelto for a weekend in Vancouver to experience the joy of driving the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). Vancouver offers some of the most incredible roads in North America and it would be exhilarating.

Finally, Lamborghini is about passion as much as engineering. What’s one “pinch me” moment you’ve had leading the brand that still gives you goosebumps?

I recently drove the 907 horsepower Lamborghini Temerario at the global dynamic launch in Portugal. The experience taking this 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8, that tops out at 10,000 rpm, on the track exceeded all my expectations. The agility of the Temerario balanced with its incredible power makes the car much more approachable than most would think. We are excited to start deliveries to customers in the beginning of 2026.
