Our special love for pizza means we are forever seeking the perfect pie.
Well, we’ve found a strong contender in Edmonton’s Parlour Italian Kitchen and Bar, with an atmosphere that’s as good as the food. Mega-high ceilings, exposed brick, birch-wood floors and a large marquee commanding us to “EAT”—plus, an impressive courtyard that allowed us to pretend we were actually sitting in Venice.
We carb-feasted on The Queen, which provides just what you want from a traditional margherita pizza with its soft, thin crust, zingy sauce and oodles of cheese. Pair it with Parlour’s signature ceasar salad, which boasts a slight twist on the classic with radish and mascarpone black garlic dressing (lunch combo $15).
