Calling all food lovers—on Wednesday, November 5, Hawksworth Restaurant is serving up a once-in-a-season dinner to celebrate the launch of Michael Hunter’s new cookbook, The Hunter Chef in the Wild.

This is chef-collab theatre at its best: Hunter’s forager-forward, coast-to-canopy flavours meet David Hawksworth’s polished West Coast finesse for a multi-course menu that reads like a love letter to Canada’s wild larder.

Expect standout dishes—Sashimi-Style Geoduck, BC Albacore Tuna with Tonkatsu Sauce, Bison Tenderloin with Smoked Uni Butter and an indulgent Apple Tarte Tatin with Candy Cap Ice Cream—plus optional wine pairings curated by Vancouver’s very own Sommelier of the Year, Chris Rielly. The full tasting is $198 per person, and seats are extremely limited for this single-night event.
